Chai Bread

Chai, a spiced tea originating in India over 5,000 years ago, is the inspiration behind our seasonal chai bread. Available from October 1st to December 1st ,our bread is infused with a rich chai concentrate made from a South Asian blend of cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, black peppercorn, cloves, and fennel seeds. This flavorful syrup is swirled throughout the dough, creating a subtly sweet and aromatic loaf. Enjoy it with a cup of chai or paired with honey and nuts for a perfect autumn treat.

Ingredients:

• Organic All Purpose Flour
• Water
• Organic Whole Wheat Flour
• Organic Barley Flour
• Dry Activated Yeast
• Freshly Ground Chai Spices (Cinnamon, Cardamom, Star Anise, Cloves, Nutmeg, Ginger, Fennel Seeds, Black Peppercorn)
• Black Tea
• Local Maple Syrup
• Jaggery (Natural and Unrefined Cane Sugar)
• Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oil
• Greek Sunflower Oil
• Salt
• Brown Sugar (a pinch, to help activate the yeast)
